XinLing Ann's Home Page

On January 28, 2002, I received my referral for my beautiful daughter, XinLing Hong. Her birthdate is estimated to be April 13, 2001. She was found by the Xin Jian (Jiangxi) County Civil Affairs Staff on April 16, 2001. On June 7, 2001 she was place with a foster family, where she remains today. She is under the care of the NanChang Social Welfare Institute in Jiangxi Province.

Her development is normal. Her weight at 6 months was approximately 16.5 pounds (7.5 kg). Her height was 65.5 cm or about 24 inches long. January 29, 2002 report said she was now 29 inches (74 cm) long, and weighs about 19.3 pounds (8.8 kg). Her foster care is obviously excellent as her growth and happy smile attest.

I am waiting for an invitation to travel to China before we will know when I can go to pick her up. We are hoping to travel around February 17, 2002 to get her. I am very blessed and fortunate to have the privledge of parenting this child.

When she gets here, this page and a million other things are waiting for her. The nursery and wardrobe are ready and filled with a pretty crib, warm blankets and clothes and lots of toys to play with. She has a big sunny window and a spare bed to have her friends over.

But mostly, she will have the unwavering love of her forever mom and a forever family to support and cherish her.
